IVDC (Inter-Varsity Dancesport Competition) is a once a year ballroom and latin dance competition held in Blackpool in the historic winter gardens venue! This is a competition where dancers represent their universities (both current students and ex-students), and is a very special experience. 

We head up on the Friday the night before, stay in a hotel together, compete on Saturday, have a big all-university afterparty Saturday night and then head home to London after brunch on Sunday. This is our biggest annual competition and a super special experience. There are usually almost a thousand competitors at this event with showdances from professional dancers, and opportunities to compete our group dance and in rock and roll !

Location- Empress Ballroom, Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

Spectator tickets - Spectator tickets can be purchased on the door priced at £10 per person.

• Entry is approximately £30pp, students will be subsidised by ex-student attendees 
• Travel to Blackpool (approx £80)
