Join the Birkbeck Film Society as we screen Wes Anderson's 2001 classic family comedy The Royal Tenenbaums!
This week the Film Society are holding two screenings! The first of which will be this Friday of Wes Anderson's 2001 family comedy classic The Royal Tenenbaums.
Featuring an eclectic ensemble that includes a combination of big screen titans (Gene Hackman, Angelica Huston and Danny Glover), Anderson regulars (Bill Murray, Owen Wilson and Luke Wilson) and some of the biggest names in 2000s Hollywood cinema (Gwyneth Paltrow and Ben Stiller); the film follows the titular Tenenbaums. A dysfunction family led by a man who is desperate to win back the hearts of his wife who he has been separated from for many decades and his three former child prodigy, turned adult disappointment, children.
Our screening of The Royal Tenenbaums will start just after 6.30pm on Friday the 7th of November in Room B35 (Room 35 on the Basement level) of the Birkbeck Main Building on Malet Street. Tickets are free and both current students and alumni are welcome.
