The event plan:
Meeting place and time: Outside Birkbeck Central (BCB), 11 am, Wednesday, 17th December. Please be on time. Late arrival does not extend ice time.
Tickets include skates + time on the ice. Normal price is £11, these tickets are subsidised tickets.
Ice rink ground rules and tips:
- £1 lockers available at Alexandra Palace; bags can be worn on the ice.
- No food inside the rink; water and drinks allowed (but not on ice).
- Eating areas available in East Court, first-come-first-served.
- Rent skates in your regular shoe size.
- Skates must be tied tightly; staff can demonstrate but may not tie skates individually.
- Wear warm layers and avoid loose accessories.
- Wear thick socks; socks and gloves can be bought at reception of Alexandra Palace.
Please be aware that we do not teach ice skating! Tickets are very limited, so make sure to book them before they sell out!
