Join the Postgraduate Officer for a book crawl across Bloomsbury and King's Cross!
Meeting outside the Birkbeck Central Building, the book crawl will cover Waterstones Gower Street, London Review Bookshop, Brunswick Bookshop, Skoob Books, Gay’s The Word, The British Library and Words On the Water. There will be games, prizes, and time to browse - the perfect day out for a book lover!
Accessibility information:
There are four politically accessible toilets along the route. The tour will be partially accessible to wheelchair users as all of the bookshops (apart from Word on the Water) as all of the bookshops have level entry access. However, Houseman’s has a lip in it’s entry way, but there is a ramp available. Waterstones, Skoob Books, Gays the Word, and Housemans have stairs inside of the bookshop but Skoob and Waterstones have a lift and Housemans has a ramp for some areas of the store. Unfortunately, Gays the Word only has stairs to access their second floor.
