A new year means another jam-packed Welcome programme for our new and returning students to enjoy! The 2023/24 academic year sees the introduction of the Official Big Birkbeck Welcome, which will see over 23+ central events and activities packed within an 11 day period, all for you to get involved in.
From wacky events like Crazy Golf, Thorpe Park and Boat Parties, to cosy Wine & Cheese nights and International Picnics - and everything in between - there'll be something for you!
The jewel in the crown is of course our headline Welcome Fair, where you will be able to come onto campus and meet and chat to people from all across the SU and University. Find out what societies, sports and communities you can join, speak to key university services, enjoy campus tours - and much, much more.
Wait - there's more? As well as our core events, our student groups will be putting on taster sessions, activity and events of their own for you to enjoy, so make sure to keep an eye out for them across our channels!
We commit to keeping activity as affordable as possible for students, and where possible, and whilst ensuring our programmes remain sustainable for our community to enjoy throughout the year. We encourage you to take advantage of our discounted wristbands that are available should you wish to attend multiple events with fees attached.
